PRODUCT MANAGER - COOLING SYSTEMS - Glendale Heights, IL

HYDAC, a leading manufacturer in the fluid power industry is seeking to fill a Product Manager position for our Cooling Systems Division. Based at HYDAC's Glendale Heights IL facility, the Product Manager will be responsible for the management of key product activities including product training, sales support, application support, marketing, as well as product and cost documentation.

Duties:

  • Provide support to application engineering and field sales.
  • Work closely with customer and distributors to design custom system lubrication, filtration and cooling solutions.
  • Handle OEM Quotations and price strategies.
  • Recommend new product or product modifications.
  • Develop and update product literature and new product publicity.
  • Prepare and present product presentations, reports and plans.

HYDAC is a fluid power leader that specializes in the design and development of custom solutions for the mobile and industrial markets. At our Glendale Heights, Illinois facility we are seeking a qualified CNC Manufacturing Manager. The CNC Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of all areas of the CNC Machine Shop to produce products and direct activities so that approved products are manufactured on-schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives. The ideal candidate will need to perform the following tasks and possess the minimum qualifications.

Tasks:

  • Develop the manufacturing plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operation to ensure the product conform to established customer and company quality standards.
  • Direct and coordinate various projects essential to manufacturing process (e.g., plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.)
  • Identify, recommend and impellent changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap and rework data. Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
  • Manage and supervise associates in a fair and consistent manner to insure compliance with company policies, procedure and safety rules and provide appropriate feedback and/or disciplinary measures as needed.

Education & Experience:

Job Description:

  • In the role of Production Coordinator / Designer, the position reports to the Production Manager.
  • As a Production Team member
    • Co-ordinate production job(s) requirements with Production, Sales, Engineering and Administration personnel.
    • Develop external relationships with sub-contractors, raw material suppliers, inbound and outbound transportation carriers, and third party inspection companies.

Hydac is a global provider of hydraulic components and systems for the industrial and mobile industries. Within our sales group based in Edmonton, AB we have requirement for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the territory of Calgary / Southern Alberta

Position Summary:

In the assigned area of responsibility retain, develop and attain new business opportunities for HYDAC.

Position Description:

  • Identify new business opportunities and increase sales / profit margin in the assigned territory.
  • Implement HYDAC's corporate sales strategy.
  • Oversee and manage distributor and customer relationships to follow each opportunity to successful completion.
  • Effectively communicate local market trends and competitiveness of HYDAC product to management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with territory Distributors, follow up leads / inquiries, conduct product training.
