HYDAC is a fluid power leader that specializes in the design and development of custom solutions for the mobile and industrial markets.  We are currently seeking at Director of Corporate Quality to oversee management of all areas of the Quality Department and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in production compliance, inspecting, process improvements, and certification of product and process. Location Quality Managers will have a matrix reporting to this position in the areas of QMS, certification of processes, compliance to customer requirements, etc.


  • Design, implements, and documents procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection to be used in multiple manufacturing locations and products.
  • Establish metrics (process capability, control plans, control charts, and other quality measurements) for monitoring system effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product quality decisions.
  • Establish collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product
  • Manages and integrates a QMS for multiple manufacturing plants. Strengthen quality systems and ensure Corporate and Division processes are implemented and adequately followed.
  • Function as the highest-level Quality resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous.
  • Will interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and local management.
  • Report to all local and corporate management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
  • Ensure that internal processes and metrics are aligned to create highest product quality and highest customer
  • Be the senior staff sponsor to drive improvements in all areas of operations, focusing on key performance indicators and key Division processes.
  • Will support all locations with root cause analysis, best practice problem solving, lessons learning while driving standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Assist plants with the deployment of corporate quality policies, auditing practices and ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist plants with the deployment and implementation of customer requirements and specifications as applicable, serve as the escalation point for unresolved quality related issues.
  • Will oversee the education and training identified as required for Quality related initiatives at all locations.


Education, Experience, and Training:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in the technical field i.e.: Engineering/Science field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in QA systems and management of both a professional and hourly workforce.
