As a Team Lead for Accessories, you will be the front line of the team responsible for the following:

  • Plans, directs, coordinates and controls activities of workers engaged in assembling parts or assemblies into units by performing the duties listed below.

 

You will make an impact in this role by:

  • Control bottleneck areas by coordinating the placement of personnel to different positions in the department with a focus on production requirements.
  • Assist Supervisor in handling general activities and information such as:
  • Team building, growth, and safety initiatives.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
  • Material and component requirements.
  • Assist in developing, refining, and implementing work instructions.
  • Determining resolution to production related problems.
  • Control paper flow (non-conformance issues to overtime).
  • Use SAP for parts location and order information.
  • Assist and/or coordinate the training and cross-training of temporary workers.
  • Able to run team meetings, conduct daily presentations via white board to small groups, and communicate effectively through various corporate software applications.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

To be considered for a Team Lead – Accessories role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, safety rules, etc.
  • High school degree or GED is required, additional education is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and apply LEAN initiatives.
  • Willingness to learn and apply a basic mechanical ability.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
